On September 4, 2025, a new chapter began for Rwanda’s engineering community as more than 100 engineers and technologists officially took their professional oath and joined the Institution of Engineers Rwanda (IER).
By taking this oath, the new members pledged to uphold excellence, integrity, and ethical practice in their profession—values that form the foundation of engineering’s role in driving sustainable development and innovation.
This milestone not only marks the beginning of their professional journey under IER but also reinforces the institution’s commitment to strengthening Rwanda’s engineering standards and fostering a culture of accountability and service to society.
